Lane Norberg LIVE@Lockhorn
Jun 8 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Lane Norberg is a singer-songwriter from Bozeman, MT. He grew up learning to play piano and drums, but didn’t begin playing the guitar until college. During these years, Norberg began to write and record his own music, often in his apartment bedroom. His songs are driven by faith, love, and all of life’s up’s and down’s. Lyrics are thoughtful, and often involve details from his own life. In his own words: “I believe that music is a unique way to express the kinds of things that we all go through every day. I want my music to be relatable to people, because I really think you can communicate an idea through song if your lyrics are believable and authentic.” Musically, the songs are very approachable and easy to listen to, and the style is beautifully simplistic. Lane is in the process of recording his first EP at Basecamp Recording Studio in Bozeman, MT, which is set to release in Fall 2017.

Radio Station recently called a concert with Jill Cohn “an evening of Folk Americana Bliss” and her Soul-Stirring Voice in combination with lush arrangements, toe tapping road songs and heart-string tugging ballads had the Los Feliz Journal (Los Angeles, CA) naming her album a 2012 top 10 indie pick.

“Her songs are beautifully crafted, sometimes bittersweet and sometimes hopeful, but ever easy and melodic with soulful and savvy lyrics” – Chicago Tribune 5/2014

Clara Baker LIVE@ Lockhorn
Sep 17 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Clara Baker, born and raised in Portland, OR, grew up around music. She sang harmonies with her mom in church, learned fiddle from her dad, and spent summers jamming at bluegrass festivals and fiddle contests. It wasn’t until she turned 18 though, that Clara really found her own voice and passion for music.

Listening to her parents’ old Emmylou Harris, Joni Mitchell and Dixie Chicks albums inspired Clara to save up enough money to buy a beautiful Martin guitar to accompany her singing.

Since then, Clara has spent the past seven years learning licks and writing songs while performing and touring in Oregon, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, California and the Northeastern US. Her debut album, Temporary Things, was successfully funded on Kickstarter and came out in June 2015 to critical acclaim. Her album has received widespread radio play in the US and internationally, and charted as top-played for two months in a row on national folk DJ charts.
